While gender reveal parties are slowly becoming a less and less popular choice, Rihanna admitted that she felt like a "bad mom" for opting out of having one.

The 34-year-old "Love On The Brain" singer, who is soon to welcome her first child with rapper boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, recently opened up to Vogue, revealing that she felt guilty about steering clear of certain pregnancy traditions.

If you've been keeping up with Rihanna's pregnancy, you probably already know that she's been anything but traditional.

From hers and A$AP Rocky's shocking pregnancy announcement back in January to every iconic, baby bump-baring outfit that she has worn since she has been paving her own path as a soon-to-be mom.

She recently opened up in an interview with Vogue about her pregnancy journey and got candid about questioning whether or not she is a good mom for opting out of having a traditional gender reveal party.

While gender reveal parties have become frowned upon by many and considered politically incorrect in today's global climate, the "Umbrella" singer said that she feels like a "bad mom" for not having one.

Before explaining her thoughts on having a gender reveal party, she began by sharing that she was unsure about whether or not she wanted to have a baby shower.

She noted that if she does, it's not going to be cliché. "No brunch, no blush tones. And no animal-shaped nothing," she said.

She added that it can be an exciting thing for other moms, and if they choose to have traditional baby showers, more power to them. It's just not her style.

She even admitted to throwing traditional baby showers for other people.

“I mean it’s lit for a lot of people — I’ve even planned a couple of baby showers like that myself — it’s just not right for me," she shared.

"Personally, I want a party. I want everyone to be plastered and crawling out. And it’s got to be co-ed!" the beauty mogul said.

She then went on to reveal that she was concerned about not wanting to have a gender reveal party.

She asked her doctor if there was something wrong with her for being against the idea of celebrating the gender of her baby.

“I asked my doctor: 'Is something wrong with me for not wanting this? Because people keep asking me. Am I a bad mom?'" she said.

The "We Found Love" singer doesn't plan on having a gender reveal party, but she and her partner, A$AP Rocky, do know the sex of their baby and plan on revealing it to their fans in due time.

Similarly, the pair took their time even revealing their pregnancy back in January. So it doesn't come as a surprise that they want to wait until they're ready to reveal the gender of their baby.

"When we’re ready to tell the world, we’ll just tell them," she said.
