TikToker Tests Viral Hack For Getting Popular Starbucks Drink For Half Price

According to a recent TikTok hack, there's actually a way to get one of Starbucks's most popular drinks for a lot cheaper.

A TikTok posted by CBC Street Cents breaks it down, testing to see if you can actually get the drink at a discount.

The drink in question is the Starbucks Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso. And while that's a mouthful just to say, it's pretty dang good.

You just have to add specific modifications in order to turn it into the Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso. (Say that three times fast.)

Like, just a plain one. Then (in the Starbucks app, of course), add extra ice, extra espresso, three brown sugar pumps, "a splash of" oat milk, and add a sprinkling of cinnamon on top.

The taste is almost identical, and will cost quite a bit less than the hard-to-say "real" version.

In the TikTok, they explain that the price for the grande Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso is $6.72 after tax, while the regular iced espresso is only $3.73 (!), but that'll be different depending on where you live.

I swear, real, good hacks are few and far between. But this one seems like the real deal, and I couldn't be any more excited about it than I already am.

Now's as good a time as any to try it out for yourself. Who cares if it's still winter where you are; there's never a bad time for an iced espresso!
